Been chatting about booking a trip away with your mates in the group chat but not actually got round to doing it? The bright lights of Ibiza are calling your name.

Ibiza is the ultimate destination to experience as a group because it truly does have something for everyone. While sometimes travelling as a group can lead to a whole lot of stress, it also has the potential to become one of the best times of your lives. To ensure it’s the latter for you, we’ve put together our top tips on booking a group trip to Ibiza.

GET YOUR ACCOMMODATION RIGHT

One of the biggest potential problems that can arise when booking a group trip is budget – it’s likely that some people will be able to spend more than others and sometimes, this can become stressful when booking accommodation. At Amistat, we offer the best of both worlds so you can all stay under one roof yet are all happy. For those with a higher budget, we have spacious en-suite double rooms available which come with a terrace (a prime spot to watch the day’s events unfold!). For those seeking a more budget-friendly option, we have shared rooms for up to 10 people which are air-conditioned and come kitted out with individual lockers for items to be securely stored. There’s plenty of space for the whole group so no one will be falling on top of one another but you are close enough to share your hungover stories the morning after the night before…

BOOK ACTIVITIES AHEAD

During the summer season, it’s safe to say the island gets busy. To avoid missing out on the best clubs, bars, restaurants and activities, try to book in advance where possible – especially if you’re in a bigger group. Getting organised and booking in advance for some events is also bank balance friendly with many places offering discounted prices so be sure to keep an eye out for those online.

For group activities that require less time booking ahead or for those who are a little more spontaneous, we’ve got you covered with everything from water sports, island tours and daily boat parties.

MIX UP THE ITINERARY

The best holidays often come with a mixture of down time and planned activities and when it comes to travelling with a group, not everyone will want to do the same thing. Maximise your time on the island with a selection of planned activities, chilled days by the pool and dancing that goes on long into the night.

GET OUT AND EXPLORE THE ISLAND

This Mediterranean island is just waiting to be explored. Why not hire a bike from us and head out of Sant Antoni to some of the undiscovered parts of the island; head along the north west coast to discover the secluded cove of Punta Galera or venture further out along the south west coast to reach the historical monument of Cala Llentia (13 columns that represent the movements of the planets around the sun otherwise known as the ‘Ibizan Stonehenge’). Our friendly reception staff will be able to advise on the best cycle routes and top places to see by bike. They will also be able to organise a variety of excursions for you to explore the island on, including beach trips to Cala Comte and day tours to Formentera.

GET SOCIAL

Even though you’ve come to Ibiza in a group of your own, some of the most memorable holidays come from meeting new people, right? The past year has been tough with not being able to socialise like we are used to so it’s time to mix (safely!) with other like-minded groups and experience the social side of Ibiza. Whether you’re at the bar, chilling on the terrace or cooling off in our pool, there are plenty of opportunities to meet like-minded people and make memories together at Amistat.

GET THE RIGHT LOCATION

You don’t always have to travel far to make the most of your time in Ibiza when staying with us. Situated in the heart of San Antoni, we are a short walk to the bright lights of the infamous Sant Antoni strip. Enjoy traditional Spanish dishes of Paella and tapas at the hostel before heading out to watch the sunset over the marina with a drink in your hand. The infamous spots of Café Mambo and Café Del Mar are only a 10 minute walk away, with Ocean Beach Club and Linkers Bar around a 20 minute walk away.
