Studying in Barcelona, it is easy to travel around Spain and the rest of Europe. This weekend I was able to visit the beautiful island of Ibiza. Ibiza is a small island in the Mediterranean sea off of Spain and only about a half an hour plane ride from Barcelona.
Although busy season doesn’t start until May, going in April allows you to see what Ibiza is without all the other tourists. Enjoy the uncrowded beaches and layout to tan (I’m a little burnt from doing this all weekend, oops!). Not looking to sit at the beach all day? Go enjoy the amazing history that Ibiza has to offer with out all the crows. However, once busy season starts, life on Ibiza comes alive. All nightclubs are open and packed with other tourists looking for great night of music. The beaches are crowded with beach parties, people learning how to surf or just looking to relax and tan.
Into EDM music? Ibiza is know to have some of the best DJs in the world during the summer. They are also know for having some of the best nightlife in Spain (other than Barcelona of course!).
If you’re looking to sightsee during the day, Ibiza has some of the best views. From the view from Old Town Ibiza to the little beach towns, there is always something to do.
As a small tourist island, Ibiza can get expensive. However, there are many ways to save money and still have the time of your life. One way to save is by staying at a hostel instead of an expensive hotel. Check out Amistat Island Hostel Ibiza! Opening on Thursday, April 11, 2019, Amistat Island Hostel Ibiza is close to the beach and offers many activities to enhance your Ibiza experience.
Join Amistat Island Hostel Ibiza on a tour of Dalt Vila, Old Town Ibiza. At the highest point of Ibiza, enjoy the amazing panoramic views of the island. Looking to learn a little bit about the island, Dalt Vila is Ibiza’s historic center going back to medieval and renaissance times. Looking to be active but also explore the Island? Join our team bike ride of Formentera, a small island 11 miles off of Ibiza or explore Ibiza on your own by renting bikes from the hostel. Want to spend your time on the beach? Join Amistat Island Hostel Ibiza for some snorkeling and while the sun is setting. If you’re feeling adventurous, join us for some extreme cliff jumping after exploring the trek up to the extreme caves. At night join us to experience Ibizas night life on our Ibiza nightlife tour where we bring you to all the best clubs around!
Looking to enjoy some authentic food without going over budget? Join us out at our pool for delicious homemade paella!
