If you’re studying abroad in the European Union this Spring Semester, you most likely have heard of Abroadfest Barcelona. This three day EDM music festival brings the best DJ’s from around the world to participate in the premier event for all students.

With headliners like Tiesto, What So Not, and Phantoms preforming at some of the biggest clubs on the beach, Abroadfest 7th edition is one concert not to be missed.

Trying not to spend too much money as the tickets are expensive and you’re studying abroad? Think about cheap places to eat, inexpensive transportation, and an affordable Barcelona hostel.

As the countdown begins, here are some other things to think about including:

WHO

kaskade, Marshmello, Rezz, Louis the Child, Carnage, The Chainsmokers, Whethan, Party Favor, Slushii, San Holo, Cash Cash, adventure Club, Dombresky, Medeon, Nghtmre, Slander, Shaun Frank, and Cheat Codes

WHAT

AbroadFest is the largest study abroad event in Barcelona, Spain. This three day festival brings the biggest names to the biggest clubs in Barcelona for the best concert of the year.

WHERE

Although not all the venues have been announced. We can imagine that they are going to be similar to last years. Some of these places include Shoko, Razzmatazz, and more.

This is also a good time to think about where to stay as you don’t want to travel too far. Check out Amistat Beach Hostel Barcelona for a reasonably priced hostel in Barcelona.

WHEN

This large event starts on Thursday February 28 and goes until Saturday March 2. Pick up your tickets at The Room and then meet at Razzmatazz at 11:00pm to start your weekend off correctly.

HOW

If you have yet to buy your tickets, go do it now. Unfortunately, the only tickets available are for Thursday Feb. 28 but you can still tell your friends back home that you went.

If you are not in Barcelona, figure out how you are going to get here. If you are in Spain, take the train or rent a car. If you are not in Spain, figure out some cheap flights to get here. I recommend Ryanair or Vueling.

Now, for a place to stay. Hotels are expensive and living on your friends apartment floor is not ideal. The concert takes place at the clubs on the beach so I recommend looking for a hostel in Barcelona over there. The Amistat Beach  Hostel Barcelona is the best place to stay. With comfortable beds, friendly staff, and being so close to the concert, you can’t go wrong. Your friends have tickets for the last two nights and you don’t? Amistat Beach Hostel Barcelona has cool experiences planned so that you can experience Barcelona a little more. Take a bike tour, Learn how to paddle board, and eat some amazing homemade paella by the pool. Then go experience the craziest boat party on a two story vessel.

Now, go buy your AbroadFest ticket for Thursday night and spend the rest of your weekend with Amistat Beach Hostel Barcelona.
