We believe that taking care of the planet starts with small gestures, that's why at Amistat Hostels we have adopted specific measures to reduce our environmental impact and offer a more conscious stay. We have ecological bathrooms that recycle water for efficient second use, showers with timers that optimize consumption, and lights with sensors that help decrease energy usage without compromising our guests' comfort.
Additionally, we have completely eliminated the use of paper: check-in is easily done on digital kiosks with the assistance of our team, and access to the hostel and rooms is managed through digital QR codes, avoiding the use of physical keys and reducing unnecessary waste. We promote active recycling in all facilities, gradually eliminate single-use plastics, and opt for eco-friendly cleaning products. We work with suppliers committed to responsible practices to offer a more conscious and environmentally friendly experience.

Also, we organize and support cultural activities, volunteer work, and beach clean-ups in collaboration with local entities. We work for the idea of promoting activities that respect the identity of the place, promote local culture, and sustainable tourism.

Every traveler staying with us has the opportunity to contribute, and we want to make it easy for them to do so. We believe that sustainable tourism doesn't have to be complicated: with the right tools, it's easier to make responsible choices while still enjoying yourself.
During your stay, you will find clearly marked recycling points on each floor, making it easy to separate waste and contribute to environmental care without complications. We also encourage you to reuse towels and bed linens to reduce water and energy consumption, respecting your rhythms and needs. We share recommendations for sustainable mobility, such as using public transport, renting a bike, or simply walking, and we suggest restaurants, cafes, and local shops so that your economic impact also directly benefits the community.
