  1. La Barceloneta:

The most known and visited beach in town, where Amistat Beach Hostel is located. It is one of the largest beaches in Barcelona and it is also very close to the city Centre. That may be the reason why people from every age, locals and tourist gather there to have a good time.

  1. Nova Icaria:

Nova Icària Beach is one of the most quiet beaches on Barcelona, usually visited by families and groups of friends. This beach is next to Port Olímpic and it features a metallic fish sculpture on the background designed by architect Frank Gehry. Due to its centric location, it is easy to get there by walking or using public transportation.

  1. Mar Bella

Mar Bella Beach is usually frequented by young people. It has a space designated to be used as a nudist beach, along with sport facilities such as volleyball and basketball fields and ping-pong tables.

  1. Playa de Sant Adrià

We find this beach next to the Forum and the Fesca towers; it is less crowded than Barceloneta and Icaria beach, perfect to enjoy a quiet sunny beach day.

  1. Playa de Sant Sebastià

Sant Sebastià Beach is a favorite for locals. This beach is the one nearest to the west side of Barcelona and is also one of the oldest ones along with la Barceloneta.
